The Achievers of America Work Program

And Living Skills for individuals with Developmental disabilities

We are introducing a work and learning skills program for individuals with Developmental disabilities.  "A chance to be part of our world ". Giving the opportunity to work is a dream come true for these individuals.

For them to be able to say, " I have a Job" is something they never thought possible...It is a dream come true.

The Achievers of America Program offers the opportunity to learn working skills, preparing those who can possibility work in the main stream working force and for those who can't work in the main stream, we offer a work shop environment, and they actually get paid for their efforts, along with the every day learning program improving their quality of life

With programs such as preparing a person to work at a job like Mc Donald's or a restaurant etc. cafe setting with light cooking, Dish washing, table cleaning, rolling knife and fork in a napkin, How to clean tables and set up a setting for the next customer. A craft shop & Drawing class for those who canąt work. A shop with a car engine with spark plugs and wires for those who could work in a mechanic shop.  A speech class, a class that teaches how to tell time, count change, basic reading class, Exercise and gymnastic class that will help keep them strong and fit, a home living class like teaching basic everyday chores, from bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, washing dishes etc.

    Each department will have a certified person that is in charge of the class or department they are assigned to. All this will help improve the quality of life for these individuals and that is the purpose of The Achievers of America.
